Aonach na Nollag

Comhghairdeachas le Coiste na dTuismitheoirí, na tuismitheoirí, múinteoirí agus daltaí ar fad a chabhraigh leis an Aonach na Nollag a chur ar siúl. It really was a fabulous day for the children!

Maith sibh a phaistí a chuir seastáin iontacha ar bun agus a bhailigh airgead iontach. Moladh agus buíochas mór daoibh chomh maith, a thuismitheoirí, for the beautiful baking you did for the Aonach – your help and support was such a treat and privilege for the children, and such a good message to them, that you would give this time at such a busy period of the year for all!

The development of the children’s wntrepreneurial skills was clearly evident, the bargaining, the selling, the weighing up of what was or wasn’t good value even by the youngest of children was a joy to watch, and the sheer excitement reigning, from the purchasing to the skills games to the relaxing in the Caifé!

Rang a 5 raised €199.15 for St. Vincent de Paul, and Rang a 6, €151.79 for the Philipines. €453.74 was raised from the Caifé, raffle, books, toys and gifts stalls, which was put to great use with our visit from Santa and the presents the children received! We have balls etc. ordered for the playground with the remainder!
